Now is the turn for vehicles.
4 types of vehicles engines and wheels: car, truck, truck+container (6 wheels+2) and armoured vehicle (6 wheels).
3 types of traction, RWD, FWD, AWD (traction total)
6 gear speed, manual and automatic.
Limit speed for every car and for every gear.
Diferent relation of speed and torque for every gear.
RPM and Km/h.
Container and truck articulated. Can be dropped.
Fuel consumption.
Engine start stop (no start stop like modern cars...) :mrgreen:
Advice lights for engine ON, hand brake and reserve fuel.
Every car can be adjusted with settings for engine and other params.

It has been quite difficult to get the vehicle to behave as it should, as the physics sometimes do strange things.
Finally, everything is working well, and I will soon add it to the full game.

The reason for the vehicles is that I want to add transport missions so it's not just kill and kill. :lol:

I'm working with PB6.02 because in 6.21 it doesn't go above 43fps, while in PB6.02 it runs like a dream. 80.90 fps.

Hey BarryG, thanks you very much friend!, thats the idea, but to make a good game is really hard, some times 4 pixels triumph and AAA games sell 2 copys... :mrgreen:
Im trying to make one any decades :lol:

I rescue an old system for dialogues from my archives and now improving any things is functional for the game.
Here any captures (the gif quality is horrible) :

Can use cross dialogues between pages.
Accept missions and exit. (can decrease or increase friendly with NPC depend you say, becarefull :mrgreen: )
Procedural creation of images for NPCs
Procedural creation of names for NPC´s (in this example is the same name, can use procedural or defined name)
Multi language. Example is in Spanish but admit change the languaje.

Well, the most important and fun is create this things, later the time will say if the game watch the light or fall to the deep of the archive :lol:

Yes, vehicles work very nice after making adjust, a litle trip i think is use spheres for wheels, cylinder in small size give me bad results.
With genericJoints and spheres all goes over wheels :mrgreen:

Im trying to make any procedures to create vehicles models low poly on the fly with textures and normal maps. With 6 models as base and later apply small modifications to get more models. All procedural creation.

That's really impressive vehicle mechanics. Incredible work. I always love procedural stuff.
If you need some texture work let me know.

I'm not getting a clear idea of what game you are aiming at, you are at the point where you need to have a clear concept of where you want to go.
