It is time to announce the winners of the first contest!
As funny as it may seem, only one person entered the contest. While this guarantees a 100% chance to win the prize and therefore eliminates any excitement, I enjoyed reviewing the submitted entry. The application in question is ...

Re: Display or graphics card faulty?
I believe the issue is OS independent. I am unable to get to the BIOS screen with the Quadro and the LG. All other combinations work fine (Quadro-Fujitsu, GeForce-LG, GeForce-Fujitsu). There is an incompatibility with the LG and DisplayPort-DVI adapter I believe (though can't really say what).

Display or graphics card faulty?
Hi, I'm having a problem with my PC not booting up and I trimmed it down to bad RAM and a video issue somewhere, but I am not sure where.
I have an NVIDIA Quadro as well as a GeForce 8400GS graphics card, the former with DisplayPort outputs only and the latter with DVI and VGA. I have two displays ...

Re: Motherboard BIOS failed to flash!
I suspect that too. However, how does one know the CPU is really the problem? Is there any common symptom for a bad CPU that occurs?

Re: Motherboard BIOS failed to flash!
After a good month and a few weeks I finally got a replacement motherboard. Guess what? Same symptoms as I described: no POST, fans spin. I'm so upset :x

I agree! You've had your fun. Inform Google and let them handle the rest.
If you keep it you could end up banned by Google for life and you could also possibly be prosecuted if you got really bad luck.

@milan: no, if unsubscribed/deleted then it is completely gone from the google servers.
Well, that's the purpose of it. The name will become available again, and you'll be able to register it yourself...
Sorry, bad wording. Here take a look at http://groups.google.com/support/bin/answer.py ...

Re: Convince me to or not to continue Java development
Thank you for the suggestions! Java it will be for now and I'll look into the world of C later.
I'll look into SCJP when I have the time, sure sounds interesting though!
