Welcome to PureCraze! This year is soon over and it surely was a busy year for everyone. Unfortunately a few remarkable PureBasic members have left the community too, but to get everyone up for a good mood, I set up this contest called "PureCraze". The contest is all about creativity, innovation and quality. More sections to come if this goes well! Thank you for your interest and participation!
Contest 1: Programming beauty (CONTEST ENDED)
Prize to win: PureGDK license (http://puregdk.com/)
Quick info: Want to go beyond your current game development possibilities? Need to fuel up your games or just have the lust for more? Look no further! PureGDK combines the excellence of PureBasic with the power of DarkBasic Professional to create an environment of pure performance and more at your fingertips! Seamless integration and excellent implementation are what made Matthew D'Onofrio gain good reputation for this piece of software and now you have the possibility to get it for free! Please note: PureGDK requires a copy of DarkBasic Professional to function, which must be obtained separately.
What to do: Tell us about your application and explain in detail what you like about it that no other application can offer. Does the application have any exceptional features or properties? Tell us also why would you need or why are you interested in PureGDK. Please note: games are considered as applications in this contest!
Entering the contest: Send an e-mail to purecraze@gmail.com with the subject "Contest 1" and your story in the message. Remember to include your PureBasic forum username in the e-mail message too! If your application is commercial and there is no demo available, please contact me directly by PM before entering the contest!
Who will win: By next Saturday (12 December) I will review all entries and pick a winner with the most visually stunning or most innovative application. The best three contestants will be publicly mentioned in this thread as well as the name and description of the application they nominated for review.
Rules
1. Keep this thread for discussion ONLY. You may enter a contest by following the instructions for each contest.
2. Authors or people involved in the development or testing of the software to be won may NOT enter the contest.
3. Have fun!
P.S. As per request of the community, I made a more programming oriented contest. Don't shoot me for the "earlier" PureCraze. If this contest goes well, there's more to come. Give me this one more chance people, please
