No no.. you can have 2 GFX cards which aren't the same model. Maybe it depends on the motherboard.

I have just 2 Graphic Cards (the other one is GeForce 7950 GX2 and the other one is 8800 GT, oh I love the SLi technology :P)...

You can emulate an Amiga.. Look for WinUAE or if you are using Linux then look for UAE.

I'm not using PureBasic now, but I have an idea that I want to code in assembly, what do you think of it?

It is a Open Source Basic language (with the style of PureBasic) but using OpenAL, OpenGL and GTK2 to make applications.

The main Operating Systems targeted are nearly all Linux ...

I would think the usage of OpenAL would be a good idea; cross-platform forever!
