I´ll make the start: 128 MB
(The sense of this survey is to find out what´s standart nowadays :))

You don't have to feel crappy:
my Notebook has 8MB (1024x768), and my Internet Appliance has 2MB (800x600).
Only gamer need more...

Have a nice day...

You wont find a standard here. If you went to a recipe swapping forum and asked this question then you'd probably find people with very low end machines. If you went to a 'Unreal Tournament 2003' forum then you'd find people with very high end machines. I think PureBasic programmers tend to have low to mid range machines because they don't have a large income or they don't really play 3D games that often.

You'll probably find a more wealthier bunch of programmers with faster machines in a Blitz3D forum.

I have a Geforce 2 with 32 meg. I don't really have any plans to upgrade my machine because I'd rather play games on a dedicated games machine like a Playstation 2. I reckon 8 meg of video memory is more than enough for applications programmers.

@Starax: I know that I won´t get a "valid" result here, I´m just interested. In fact I´m trying to find out how many people still have 16 MB or less or if 32+ finally became the standart.

32MB DDR on a gForce2 GTS

The memory is only important for games, and if you have a good computer, the graphic memory is even less important.

For a game, 16-32Mb of requirement is ok, an application should never need that much.

The older one with PIII has an ATI Xpert2000 (?) with 32 MB I think.
