What's so good about a photo of a blurry house?

I didn't mean it was a bad thing; I like how Hoff is our unofficial mascot. :)

Someone should email The Hoff and let him know how popular he is here, maybe he could post a few comments.

Back on subject, that really is a good picture of Ned.

Personally, I think it's a fake. Look at the ground: there's a definite strip
under the insect's body that is sharper in focus than anywhere else. Why?
That's very suspicious if it's meant to be an unretouched photograph. The
camera shouldn't have such differences in focus like that. Fake, I say.

I am also wondering of the shadows. Perhaps i am wrong here, but if you look at the direction of the shadows, you can think of where the sun should be. If you compare the shadows from the front legs with the leftmost leg, they are barely visible.

The house in the background looks like CG.

About the focus, pb, using my mirror reflex with a macro lens / other kind of close-up lens (or if you go further away & zoom i guess) you do get such a sharp focus. It would actually look pretty much like that if you got so close. AFAIK
