Judging by the first post, I think he just wants to know how many people are
still using 56k modems, as opposed to specifics about ADSL speeds. IMO.
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Yep exactly. Thanks for clarifying!
I know there are many different connections, like VDSL and such, but I only picked up the main or mos timportant ones..

Yeah, a much more useful poll would be divided up into speeds, not types of connection.
Even cable and fiber (where availabe) come in a variety of speeds depending on what you're willing to pay.
I have 6 Mb/s DSL, which of the three ADSL choices would that be?

1Mbit ADSL - 2Gb download limit (which i purposely exceed every month
)
Too far away from the exchange to get the full 8Mbit speed thats offered.
UK is so backwards for net access!

2mbit cable access, no download limits. Download about 30 gig a month.
