what about sattelite, what about radio, what about T1 & T3???

Judging by the first post, I think he just wants to know how many people are
still using 56k modems, as opposed to specifics about ADSL speeds. IMO.
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Yep exactly. Thanks for clarifying!

I know there are many different connections, like VDSL and such, but I only picked up the main or mos timportant ones.. :?

back in 1995, when a guy called Fred posted in the Blitz Mailing list news of a new programing language for amiga...

Yeah, a much more useful poll would be divided up into speeds, not types of connection.

Even cable and fiber (where availabe) come in a variety of speeds depending on what you're willing to pay.

I have 6 Mb/s DSL, which of the three ADSL choices would that be?

1Mbit ADSL - 2Gb download limit (which i purposely exceed every month :twisted:)

Too far away from the exchange to get the full 8Mbit speed thats offered. :cry: UK is so backwards for net access! :cry:

2mbit cable access, no download limits. Download about 30 gig a month.
