Looking for a second home away from your country?
Mmmm... not really. Proper work VISAs can be obtained if you have a sponsoring company. Penang has a Free Industrial Zone where companies like Intel, HP, AMD, Dell and Seagate opearate and we do have foreign nationals living here for a year or 2. I'm not sure where you live but if you can get into some of these companies, I'm sure you can find a way. In Intel where I work, the jobs that need foreign expertise will be in the area of operations.Shannara wrote:Heh, looks quite nice until I saw the "Visa holders cannot work"! YikesSo much for home away from home
.. and what if ytou run your own company (like I do), and need to work... how does that work out?!

its a nice site about the island where i like to live

There is a 256kbit line, and the local provider has only a C class for his ip's, so no more than 254 computers can access the internet on the islandBeach wrote:That place looks really nice. I'm thinking there is no broadband internet connection there - you are gonna need to install a satellite to get your net on.

Then why not try investing in the MSC. I heard they have government sponsored packages for foreign investors. Microsoft and Intel have some interest in it. If you are a developer with a great idea, you might want to consider...LarsG wrote:.. and what if ytou run your own company (like I do), and need to work... how does that work out?!
