Do i now take PureBasic's speed for granted?

This is an excerpt from the latest DarkBasicPro newletter regarding a new application developed using DBPro:

Q: How many lines of code are in the final program?
A: "The main program has just over 17,000 lines of code, but I built many tools to help with development, so you can easily double that. The program was taking 10 minutes to compile each time towards the end of the project "

Holy Jamoly!!! 8O 10 minutes to compile??? Man that must be murder debugging that app.

Only 17,000 lines? That is pretty tiny when you think about it! kBilling is easy triple that amount of code and takes a little under 4 seconds to compile a debug copy
