Time to disable guests.
It is a tribute to Purebasic's popularity, but the forum is unusable. :(

I don't think phpBB allows you to do this. I could be wrong though.

Is Fred not using a reverse proxy like nginx or Apache? Phpbb is ill equipped for threat mitigation.

What's happening again? It's annoyingly slow. Loading times of 20 seconds and more.
The english grammar is freeware, you can use it freely - But it's not Open Source, i.e. you can not change it or publish it in altered way.

I really don't understand what these scrapers are doing to make the website this slow. I'm a very experienced web scraper and it's really not hard to be a good citizen of the web :mrgreen:

Maybe it needs to be transferable all data in the new forum and modern, say Discourse : https://www.discourse.org/ or Fred uses web technologies so maybe Flarum : https://flarum.org/ :mrgreen:

That maybe protects against to scrapers :shock:
