Will C++ 26 a game changer?
Yes, maybe for C++ Programmers......

OOP or parts of it is another story.
IMHO the discussion here (in this forum) is leading nowhere.
For me, the matter is (completely) clear: Use the language that best suits the task at hand. Or the one you like best, or the one you are best at.
Just because it worked doesn't mean it works.
PureBasic 6.04 (x86) and <latest stable version and current alpha/beta> (x64) on Windows 11 Home. Now started with Linux (VM: Ubuntu 22.04).

I don't know why you want to use C++ as example of OOP. There are way better examples. v26 does not add anything that changes the fact that it's specification takes 1800+ pages and every programmer has his own way of doing things. Bad too is that MS makes quite a few new API's accessible through C++ only. And ugly at that too (webview2, of which quite some functionality is missing in PB, like handy stuff like profiles) - or very incomplete (virtual desktop).
C++ may be for certain coders feel it as ugliest and bloated because of OOP + STL but it is not cause C++ in 2025 as to Tiobe gives the C++ in 2e position, because C++ is widely used in the industry and by all level of programmers, Photoshop is written in C++, same for Unreal engine, same for Godot and so etc...

Can you say me for what are way better examples ? I am very open.
