Would it be possible to co-install beta releases in future?
Eg check for registration, if ok, install beta in another folder (say PureBasicBeta) as another but associated product, without file associations, etc.
So that normal development can continue on the released version and testing on the new at same time.

You can allready do that. Just install a second copy somewhere else, and
apply the beta update to that one. (You can choose the path in the updatetool)
PB doesn't do anything outside the folder it was installed to. Except for the
file extension *.pb, which is set each time you run the Purebasic editor.
However, that will immediately be set back to the original value once you
run the editor of your old IDE again.
Multiple copies are no problem at all... i have 6 copies of PB
installed for various beta-testing purposes.
