What would you do if you never had to worry about money?

LOL! This has GOT to be the lamest solution to a perpetual problem I've EVER seen.
Every person no matter their income and fortune will get xxxx amount of $ each month?
And it will cost the "GOVERNMENT = WE THE PEOPLE" xxxxxxxxxxxxxx amount each year?
Holy moly!
I could accept it, if the sentence sounded like this:
Each person is eligible to receive xxxx $ per month, if their
personal monthly income is less that xxxx $ and they don't have a personal fortune
larger then 50.000$.
"And it will cost the top 50% richest people and companies xxxxxxxxxxx $ each year".
They're the ones putting all the money in the bank eventually.
Current configurations:
Ubuntu 20.04/64 bit - Window 10 64 bit
Intel 6800K, GeForce Gtx 1060, 32 gb ram.
Amd Ryzen 9 5950X, GeForce 3070, 128 gb ram.
Ubuntu 20.04/64 bit - Window 10 64 bit

Re: Film to watch, listen and understand
I've always found irony with nations who claim to implement some form of socialism. Especially ones who have waged wars to stop it and communism..
It's against human nature to share and commune. This should be pretty apperant now.
If you implemented socialism even in a small population you'd always hit despotism which would turn to a republic or communism or just repeat the cycle. People are greedy and often illogical.

@Psychophanta
Sorry, You really seem very confused about the topic yourself.
You link to a video, which clearly states, that the government should pay
a basic universal income to ALL citizens each year.
At 0:41:
"Imagine that the cheque is around $1000 to $1500 every month"
1. Guaranteed salary every month
2. You get paid even if you have a job
3. You can spend it however you want
4. Getting the money is an inalienable human right
And it will cost the GOVERNMENT $3.000.000.000.000 EACH year.
(Example used was the United States)
So...Since the government is 'THE PEOPLE'..Who do you think will get the bill
in the end? The smurfs? Take a look at the debt already accumulated by the countries:
http://www.nationaldebtclocks.org/
So...For the government to 'repay' the imaginary debt created out of thin air by the central banks and endorsed
by the government, it has to increase or invent other types of revenues to pay back the debt (ex. increase tax on everything).
But...Here a few questions, I like the lame egg-heads, who came up with the idea to answer:
What about the differences between countries?
Some pay high tax and vat, while others pay virtually nothing.
Some pay almost nothing for food, transport and housing, while
others pays both 100 to 400% more for the same items.
http://www.tradingeconomics.com/country ... e-tax-rate
Then there are those, who owns and operates big business.
Those who - in the end - gets our 'money'....
"Big business and wealthy people pays virtually nothing in tax".

In a society based on egocentric concepts, nothing will benefit the individual at the bottom of the ladder in the end.
Money is in reality like a turd at the bottom of a pool - it slowly rises to the top and stays there.
Every suggestion will benefit the top of the food chain as long as we're governed by old ideologies, obtuse concepts and ideas.
In this reality..We're, sadly enough, willing to do anything for personal gain (profit and/or survival).

Re: Film to watch, listen and understand
No, no. Nothing to do with so. Again you seem to missunderstand it all and posting things which are over the message of this thread.DK_PETER wrote: You link to a video, which clearly states, that the government should pay

First of all you must realize that every services and products was and are made by people, never by lobbies or trans-nationals, never in history, but by individuals.
Secondly, you must understand this system of social organization must not countinue giving Governments those products or services via the deceit of "money", which is stablished as faith form in the world public opinion.
In other words, governments should NOT continue extracting from citicens those services or products.
Is hard to say, but: The fault of this social trastornal behaviour are not governments, but mostly the fault is from the ingenuous and well-thinking citicens.
In synthesis:
(1) Still today, governments (same as in the past was emperators, kings, etc.) exist just because citicens left them to exist due to IGNORANCE public opinion.
(2) Goverments are payed EVERYDAY by citicens.
(3) The only solution to a continued chaos war, sickness, etc. is: Government = Citicens.
I hope now you understand the root of the reason of be of this thread.
So please don't go over of this thread if you write something more, i.e. please don't go off-topic of this off-topic thread, thanks!
P.D.:

And the issue is: it is not an utopy, because utopy is everything which goes beyond the human wilfulness.
So, if all this is inside the human willfulness, ther is an inmediate question:
WHAT-IS-HAPPENING?

What about NonDuality and the Nature of Self?
- I am only the Self
- Mooji Satsang - Location of the Self
- In the Face of Chaos - Ram Dass
- Papaji - Wake Up
- Papaji - Keep Quiet
- Papaji - Sri Harilal Poonja - You need absolute Watchfulness
- Eckhart Tolle - The most powerful Video on Spirituality and Happiness
Might be better than 'Star Wars'.
