It was mainly developed for VB6 and i must say i was really impressed! I'd like to port it to PB but i don't know much about COM/Activex.
It is definitely possible to wrap those functions since they did it for C++ and this engine is pretty solid even within the VB IDE and another good thing, you can actually display meshes which the OGRE engine doesn't seem to do so.
I don't know much about 3D yet but as far as i can see, OGRE has a serious compatibility issue since the TERRAIN.PB does not run properly on one of my computers.

I've programmed in Truvevision many months ago. It is very easy to use. The next version will be programmed completely in vc++. I would recommend this one, although some commands are still very buggy, I wouldn't use it professionally yet.
