Ok then - I'm thinking it's definitely a tablet issue then. Need to do some research on this.
Any issues with other browsers on these tablets ? How about changing settings in Opera,
does that make a difference ?




Seems like a known with the Xoom and some other tablets...

Just been to a few tech forums & Googling like mad - it's an issue with tablets and drop-down menus in general. Who knows what other issues *there* are. I'll be sticking with the old tried and true desktop & laptop platforms - especially since it works perfectly on most phones I've tested on which range from low-end to high-end smart phones and different manufacturers.

I don't think the Android uses a mouse pointer thing while browsing on the net. You'll have to use some DOM tricks to get touch screen support on the drop down, I think.

So here is my opinion:

Navigation
Seems to be OK, albeit you should obviously try to keep
the menus short and without sub-menus.


Layout
Well, there is no content yet, but as far as I can see, on
my laptop navigation and especially the logo take up ~30%
of vertical space. That is unnecessary and if you cut off
the weird reflection (rarely makes sense to do a reflection
without anything to reflect onto like glass) from your logo
it would be much better.

On the right side you have the text "Tupponce Technologies",
why? From the typeface you chose it seems to be some
kind of logo again, but you already have one on the left. I
don't think this is necessary?

Also the "www.TuppTech.com" is probably unnecessary too,
as everyone has it in the browser address bar anyway
(except if this page is going to be printed, maybe). You could
make the "WEBSITES GRAPHICS LOGOS" more prominent
instead.


The Logo:
The text "Tupp Tech" uses some kind of Script typeface with
which I just cannot make the connection to a modern company
that has Technology in their name. It looks like it is a hosting
company and therefore a more web-like, digital font might make
more sense.

The .COM-star-bubble in its grey, old-school appearance seems
to be out of place, too.


The Colors:
You seem to be using colours around #007c1f (green) and
#002080 (blue). This seems to be the start of a triadic colour
scheme. When I start with the blue, this would give me the
colours #002080 (blue), #207f00 (green), #7f0020 (something).

Now if you take a look at this site: tigercolor.com
They explain why this is a hard choice and what you should do
with it:

Triadic color scheme
A triadic color scheme uses colors that are evenly spaced around the color wheel.

Triadic color schemes tend to be quite vibrant, even if you use pale or unsaturated versions of your hues.

To use a triadic harmony successfully, the colors should be carefully balanced - let one color dominate and use the two others for accent.

You used the green and the blue in a striped manner, weighting
them equally important which is not so good. Choose blue
as the dominant colour and green + the other colour for
accents. That way you also get the meaning of the colour
blue right:

Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.

This is a good colour for a hosting company.
Also you should probably move away from only using fully
saturated colours. This makes everything look important
and heavy. I think you would mainly want the content and
your logo to look important.

Also I think that your gradient going from colour to black
is a bit depressing . Maybe try to incorporate more light
and bright colours to look friendlier. But that is your choice.


The end:
I hope this is not too much and that I am giving you the
feedback you wanted. Not everything I said is the absolute
truth and I am certainly no expert in this field, but I hope
that I could give you some pointers as to where you might
find some more information.

Get rid of the logo / reflection on the left.

The blue top half should stop at 5 or 10 pixels below the text on the right side.

That would be my immediate suggestion. Less if more, this is very true. Clearly you are just playing around to help get an idea for what you want to go with, and that is completely fine.
But you should avoid all the Menu nesting if you can, honestly the drop down should be sufficient, unless you are publishing large amounts of categorized data.

You can look at my own site, for an example of a clean and effective interface, that conveys what the site is about.
It isn't elegant by any means, but I'm not a graphics designer by trade, but its the fifth iteration of my site design, and the one I have kept the longest.

I was at BestBuy yesterday, looking at Tablets with my wife. We have an HP TouchPad, and I promised her a "real" tablet for her birthday. Her biggest complaint about surfing with the TouchPad is when a website has drop-down menus, usually the header gets and processes the click before you get a chance to select from the drop-down list.

All of the Android tables had this problem with their default browser.
The iPad did not.

(She said if I could find a good browser, she'd prefer Android...if not, she's stuck with apple.)

So, yes, this is a "tablet issue."
