i still don't know why coding monkeys isn't getting people from here that use PureBasic posting and sharing code on there... after all i even created dedicated areas for purebasic 2 years ago at least.. and nothing posted in it in over a year ...
This doesn't surprise me.
I personally am still waiting for my final version (out of beta) of the Aurora compiler that I paid for. Grrr!
I own few of the products that never came to fruition. Paul complains that things do not sell, but they do not sell because he never finishes them.
I also invested many, many months working on the 3D manual for Aurora which was 70% done when Paul started looking to sell Aurora.
Since it was clear early on that Paul was never going to finish the audio engine many of us paid for, I started on my own audio engine as an add-on for Emergence BASIC and I have been working on a DX9 based sprite engine for EB, since the one included is unusable due to the huge size of the DLL.
I have been thinking about it, and I think I will put up a site and forums for EB and Aurora users, aimed at game developers. I will also put up the last freeware versions of the products since those were free and can be freely redistributed. This way anybody who does not have the languages can get them.
Since I bought the source package, I will be able to write updates and provide bug fixes for the freeware versions. It will be a better solution than creating a derivative product.
I will have to give it some more thought...
