Ahh, the good ol days when the forums were great and pastures greener

Sort of reminds me of...
I got my first real six string
Bought it at the five and dime
Played it till my fingers bled
Was the summer of '69

Me and some guys from school
Had a band and we tried real hard
Jimmy quit, Jody got married
I should've known we'd never get far

Oh when I look back now
That summer seemed to last forever
And if I had the choice
Yeah, I'd always wanna be there
Those were the best days of my life (hey)

Ain't no use in complainin'
When you got a job to do
Spent my evenin's down at the drive-in
And that's when I met you! yeah

I wrote a whole heap of words.... then thought better of it....

I basically said:-

Ignore the contentious posts
Don't leave
Let's all try to get along :D

But waffled on for ages ;)

This abridged version is much better!

Keep the faith :D

It's far better than Blitz community, it's full of sick ppl there now.

Flamming(ie, constructive critism) is not something bad, but nonsense-flamming is stupid, and that happens just there, Mark and Skid are too busy to deal this.

I seldom post here, but it seems like most forums go through this "phase". It's a consequence of success I think...

The Irrlicht forum got so bad I had to just leave, the noobs were driving everyone nuts (RTFM questions mostly) and the forum regulars got pretty fed up... Personally, I think the best thing is to ignore the trolling and "less than mature" postings and move forward... 8)

Cheers!

It always helps if there are active, profession Administrators that know when to lock, remove a thread and/or warn, ban a user.

Using common sense goes a long way, as usual.
