Ricardo couldn't it be possible just to use http://www.rentacoder.com for your PB developments. Just tell the buyer to look up your profile and get the deal done.
Yes, its a very good idea.

But im not only want to use it for my own projects.
When Danilo talk about freeware and shareware i get thinking and i understand that maybe the community (or some members) could jump to a new level if we start making business here.

But as you said, maybe we can post here the bid requestes and put the links to the rent-a-coder bid, then if someone is interested they could make a bid there.

@David

Thats like selling my soul to be rich. Life is short, enjoy it.

Im not trying to get rich my friend, everybody needs to make something for living...

Hi all,

I am not sure Rentacoder is the best thing to have. Aside from
philosophical positions, I think it would soon lead to a state
where this forum no longer exist ... Here we exchange infos and
tips for free, would it go on if people begin thinking :

- I could make money solving his problem, instead of giving him
the solution for free,

- I am giving the solution for free and maybe he will get paid for
it as a coder.

No doubt you need some money to live but having a 11 year child
from a poor country working for me is not my idea of being
"More idealist than the open-source idea" ... (in fact, to me,
it looks more like what some rich countries have done to Argentina
than anything else) ...

Bests.

Stan.

Since I attended an MS course, my programs no longer have bugs ... just hidden "features" !! [ PB. registered user ]

Maybe you dont know it, but in Microsoft (and in many other software companys) there are a lot of children coding. Its not any kind of abusse, because those childrens are genius that stay all day long in front of a PC... as many others stay all day long in fron of a TV (thats the abusse from parents!!)

Average boys plays games, genius boys code games. Its simple.

BTW, this discussion of 'rich/poor countries' is out of the scope of this forums and could take many pages just to explain our points of view, i think that here is not the best place to argue about that. Better we could continue talking about PureBasic : )

Best Regards

Ricardo

OPEN Source or Freeware is great. People will see that I also have FREE Programms for download on my WEB-Site (http://www.it-berater.org).

But how do I pay for myself ? And how do many of the Open-Source Programmers
pay for themselves ?

Many of them work for Software Companies selling their programms.

So Open Source is good idea for the future, when time overcomes ideas about Patents,
Copyrights, DMCA etc.

So long these things are active and alive, Free Software will get more and more trouble cause
many trivial things are covered by Patent-Rights soon.

And private person do not have the money to hire a staff of lawyers to regularly check for possible patent-violations by their software.

At last the sentence "commercial spreads faster !" doesn't speak AGAINST "Open Source".

Open Source is FREE and if its good quality it also spreads fast.

But now think a moment, can a company put their bussiness-code public on the WEB-Site ?

There are reasons where you prefer someone to solve your problem.

You know this world contains two sorts of people ...
ONE sort which has a problem and looks for someone to solve it.
The others who solve problems.
