New 3D solution for PB?

Post by Brice Manuel »

Just saw this post elsewhere, somebody should be able to make it work with PB:

Hi folks,

BRL about indeed about to release a Blitz3D SDK for use with C, C++ etc.

However there are still several license issues to be worked out, and the version released by Filax does not include the appropriate paperwork and is technically a 'leaked' version.

Feel free to poke around, but please do not redistribute in any shape or form!

Bye!

Yep. Blitz3D engine under PB control is possibly a very good combination as long as one remembers it's still DX7 engine.

1000x better than PB's native 3D capabilities.

Try learning a new tune.

Brice, you're not hated and berated. Just considered "tiresome" at times. :)

I'm thinking about buying a TGE indie license... it would be much better to port that to PB.

Seems like a reasonable idea, a lot of people here are familiar with Blitz's 3d system.

@Num3, Well, if you are going to release a game engine like that then I'll wait for it but in the meantime I might have to settle for something a little bit more basic.
