hi,

do you remember "uridium" from c64 or amiga?
here is my 32kb version of this great game

coded with purebasic 3.94 using opengl

Of course I remember Andrew Braybrook's Uridium for C64!! :D Wasn't it the first game with parallax scrolling on C64?

I definitely remember Uridium. Top stuff! So is Paradroid next? :)

I encountered a problem though - the game crashed when I died by colliding with a turret. My 2D shoot-em-up skills have atrophied through lack of use. :)

Mind you as noone else has posted such a report, it's probably specific to my computer. :roll:

Parallax scrolling was around long before Uridium.

Uridium was the first game to have full screen scrolling at 50fps.

It was also deadly addictive.

I didn't think the C64 was capable of 50fps. Mind you I'm hardly the expert. I grew up on the Amstrad. :)
