It is really nice to see a web-page that care about us some older guys that need to make the fonts bigger! (or perhaps you not?) It works good to make the font bigger in the browser!

But you should fix some errors.. Validate your code .. (some browsers get hiccups when missing endtags and so on ...

While much emphasis is being put on the Intel/Mac, the fact is that most
Intel/Mac users are new users and not exactly a swarm of previous Mac
users. It will be a long time before the PPC machines leave the scene,
and a long time before Intel/Mac outnumbers PPC Mac.

Hello boys! Just looking to ...

That are all minor problems and especially encoding will be gone with version 4 and thats just the point why Version 4 will rock the mac like hell. And don't undersetimate Fred, he can do it in 2006 I'm sure. These one Pixel thingies are probably 1 minute solveable and bigger menu Icons are ...

I think you are using some tkl or what the name is... It is very easy to see when you compare ....

Here you're plain wrong, we are using Carbon calls. About all the encoding thing, PB4 should solve it. What is the menu issue, i tough we solved it ? BTW, when i look at the bug forums, there is no ...

SEO: I didn't understood the gadgets problems, as we use the API for all. BTW, the IDE is coded in PB and quite a big piece of software, so i wonder why it's not possible to develop Mac apps, at least 'basic' one.

1 - 'Basic Mac app' : You can't open/read a text file with Mac Line endings.

Why?

Per this press release:
http://www.realbasic.com/news/pr/2006/tenth/

RealBasic has 100,000 users. Certainly of that 100K we could convince *some* to come over to PureBasic? My personal experiences with RealBasic weren't that great:
-lots of bugs
-the executables it creates are huge
-missing ...

Read/Write

Hi,
It is long time ago I used PB, But I think I have tested to Read Lines from an file, but I noticed that the LineEndings that worked was Unix/Linux ...

So check if you could read line by line and use Unix/Linux Line vreaks..

Only an tip.

Yes, we all have the same 'problem' ... This because an Mac OS X application (when you compiled your app) is an 'bundle' ... That contains your executable and some folders.

So your 'paths' would not be the same in an Mac OS X bundle as the PB IDE. (it is the same in other developing tools for Mac ...
