Post by BalrogSoft »

Hi...

I finish the first version if iCamPlay library(only to PureBasic comunity, its a little xmas present), that use Video for Windows, to detect motion, chroma, and edge detection. This library can be used for games, multimedia, education, etc... The library is free for non commercial use, at the moment use this library for commercial use isnt allowed, it will be a cheap royalty per copy for commercial use on next versions. To get the library send to me an email with this information:

Complete name

Nick name

Webpage

Email (to receive the library - 165kb)

If you want to see the manual before request the library, you can download the library manual here:

License the library for commercial use out-right and I'll probably buy a copy. No way I'd buy on a royalty based license.

Not that it matters to ya what I'd do, but just the same... :-)

This sounds very interesting!
I emailed my information..
Wouldn't a royalty system lose you income
if your DLL were only used by freeware
authors who could only pay you
x% of nothing?

hi...

Andre: probably i will send to you the next version to put on your web.

TronDoc: This version of the librairy, is freeware use only, but next version you will be allowed to make commercial or shareware projects, i dont know how to make it, but another method can be like FMOD, pay only a price to sell 1 product, or pay a little more big price to unlimited products... and i want to make free for non commercial use, because you can try the library, and if you see that you will make something interesting with it, then pay for use as commercial use.

To all people: this library is better than other programs like iJen, or EyeToy, this programs are based only on motion detection, but with my library you can make also chroma detection that have a lot of possibilities!
You can eliminate the player background and put your virtually backgrounds, and manage the player sprite (really the player are you) and make anything with it.
