[GAME] ONET Monsters

Post by neuronic »

Hi everyone!

I have just uploaded my latest game called ONET Monsters to my website. It is a small puzzle game. Your job is to remove all the monsters from the board. You can remove two identical monsters at the same time if you can connect them with one vertical or one horizontal line or with two lines. There are 96 levels in the game.

You can download the game from my website:

I like it! Good job. My only recommendation is that it's a bit slow to play: when I click the second piece, I'd prefer the line and making them disappear to happen a lot faster. The current speed is frustrating because I'm a fast clicker.

Very nice! Seems to be similar to this game I used to play years ago:

Hi Everyone!

Thank you for taking the time to check my game!

Originally a timer was also planned but later I decided not to implement it and I decided to go with a slower gameplay instead.

I would say it is not a coincidence that the game is similar to other games. There was a similar game on the Amiga back in the days. The idea of coding this games came after I saw and bought the assets of the game. In other versions you may need to use three lines to connect the items, but I was too lazy to implement it.

Again, thank you for your kind words.

Remind me to beat up malwarebytes as it stole both exe's I tried. Have having this damned thing 'protecting' me as it kills more than it allows.

And I love the look of this game:):):)

Okay, I beat up malwarebytes and got this running. But whether I run the dx9 or dx11 executable, I get a greatly enlarged screen right off the monitor borders and cannot see it all.

I'm running Windows 11 Home, X64
AOC 49 Inch widescreen monitor
3840 x 1080 resolution
No scaling or zooming, just stock out of the box

Otherwise, I can see where this is heading and looks great.

I just quickly looked at your post and saw:
3840 x 1080 resolution
No scaling or zooming, just stock out of the box
And I thought, how the hell can anyone read something with that resolution and no scaling.

And then I saw the size of your monitor and was shocked.
And yes, the picture Kiffi posted was, what I had in mind then

It can be hard but I have glasses specific to this monitor and desk combination.
