PB 6.20 IDE additions

Post by Blue »

I just love the additions and improvements that have been made to the IDE in PB 6.20 !
They are great. Congrats to whoever thought of these and coded them .

If you'll allow me, I would like to add my grain of salt to these IDE improvements.
I suggest the following changes:

===================================================================
1st level functions:
1.1. "Switches the functions" :
     • MOVE this icon to the LEFT of the tools panel, in front of all other icons,
        so that its arrow icon (good choice) logically and visually points to what it actually affects.
     • reword as "Switch functions"

1.2. "Automatically determine and highlight the current procedure"
     • simplify as "Follow the current procedure" or as " Highlight active procedure"

1.3. "Automatically scroll to the current procedure"
     • simplify as "Scroll to current procedure"

1.4. "Automatically scroll to the current procedure"
     • simplify as "Scroll to current procedure"

1.5. "Enable automatic unfolding of the procedure after the click"
     • simplify as "Unfold clicked procedure" or as "Unfold procedure on click"

2nd level functions:
2.1. "Changing the font color of an entry"
     • reword as "Change this entry's text color"

2.2. "Changing the background color of an entry"
     • reword as "Change this entry's background color"

2.3. "Restore the color settings of an entry"
     • reword as "Restore this entry's colors"

2.4. "Copies the procedure names to the clipboard. Options: Ctrl = All, Shift = Arguments"
     • reword as "Procedure names to clipboard. [Ctrl = All ; Shift = Arguments]"

===================================================================

I just think that those elements would benefit from being worded more concisely and more consistently.
