Licenses are now Available.
Licenses are now Available.
Hello All
I wanted to announce that my ability to sell licenses is no ACTIVE. I have been approved through FastSpring for Payments they handle all Finacial transactions, sales tax VAT Tax etc., they accept virtually ALL imaginable payment transaction types from Credit Cards to PayPal and more.
Since my Licensing Software uses Email Addresses as you jump from my site to theirs you will be asked to enter your email address, note that this is for me and not them.
How to Purchase a License:
From my Product Detail Screen you will see a Purchase License Button, Clicking that will bring you to my Storefront on FastSpring. Once I am notified of the transaction I'll get your license out to you ASAP!

Re: Licenses are now Available.
What are you talking about and why do you create the same thread in different forums?
The english grammar is freeware, you can use it freely - But it's not Open Source, i.e. you can not change it or publish it in altered way.
Re: Licenses are now Available.
It's for his software. I deleted the doubled post.
Re: Licenses are now Available.
Your site works fine on Chrome, as Chrome automatically forces https when using pahlabs.com or www.pahlabs.com On Firefox this is not the case and without the WWW, your site does not usually load for me and with www, it shows as insecure and even trying to log into my account, it gives a lovely warning. Namecheap should allow for forcing https, at least it does on my account for my domains.
You are kinda spread out all over, so if you reply and I miss this, I do apologize in advance.

Best wishes to the PB community. Thank you for the memories.
Re: Licenses are now Available.
The Reason for the double post was that I have found that many who view this Forum don't appear to read the other. After a Post I made here a week or so back the number of downloads of my programs jumped by 75 in a single week. SO, I figured I'd let ALL know, not JUST those on the other Forum.
So I commend you on your broad reviewing of all Forums, and not just one or two. I understand that duplicate posts are a nuisance, and not desired. I'll refrain from doing this in the future.
Kuron
I thought I had the FORCE to HTTPS Set, I'll check.

Re: Licenses are now Available.
I recently quit using Firefox as it is becoming increasingly problematic (compatibility issues) and insecure and the folks behind it are far more interested in selling you services than keeping Firefox compatible and fast. Chrome can be made just as secure as FIrefox, if you spend some time configuring it.
That said, I keep FIrefox installed and up to date for compatibility testing as many use it and many browsers are based on it. Here is your site when using Firefox on 10.
Not secure when using www:

Warning info:

Warning trying to put in password:

Which leads to this page.
Will not resolve if NOT using www:

Re: Licenses are now Available.
We have a little "image" problem here, haven't we?
First the website you offer to us and your potential customers is hard to navigate if at all. (And the security thing mentioned above will make most shy away and browsers may block your content
)
Secondly if you do multi-post messages on purpose this may and will be regarded as "spam", you don't want that.
Third, as mentioned before you have security warnings and it's even hard to find out what your products are about and what they look like, I couldn't either.
I suggest you focus on the accessibility of your website now, because I can only wonder what this is all about and it's current state the website is not really inviting or functional (sorry but it doesn't work yet).

By default, FF only allows HTTPS unless you've changed it yourself.Your site works fine on Chrome, as Chrome automatically forces https when using pahlabs.com or www.pahlabs.com On Firefox this is not the case

I know, and I keep it as a default install since I only use it for testing, as that is what most will have.Marc56us wrote: Sat Sep 23, 2023 3:31 pm By default, FF only allows HTTPS unless you've changed it yourself.

That said, even when using https with Firefox, his site is still not secure.

Search engines may, as well.

His current products:

His older projects:

His site is a bit confusing. That squiggly sideways line in the top right corner evidently is the equivalent of a hamburger icon. Confused the hell out of me at first. Will warn you a lot of the old stuff is based on .NET and requires the 3.0 Framework.

Okay
I've spent the last 3 days on my site. Massive updates and upgrades.
It is DJANGO website, follow all "proper" security protocols am aware of.
Hosted by PythonAnywhere. It has an HTTPS auto renewing SSL certificate. I've set the site Security to Force HTTPS.
And I will reach out to the folks at PythonAnywhere to see what else can be done.
The site hosts NO financial information on anyone, In FACT I use FastSpring for everything financial. THEY are the site of record not PAHLabs. So I do believe your worries are misplaced.

Re: Licenses are now Available.
Nobody here is worried. Simply a matter of many who use one of the most popular browsers will not be able to access your site. Oddly enough, usually it is Chrome causing issues with SSL crap, not Firefox.

Re: Licenses are now Available.
Try all that now.
I realized I had the button logic backward.
I suspect your results will be very different.

Re: Licenses are now Available.
Better, but only works with the www, does not work without it.
