Re: Spammers
I won't have the time. I am invited by Google Ad to swim more often.idle wrote: Wed Nov 02, 2022 6:05 am Seems like there's a concerted effort to spam the forum please keep an eye out.

Re: Spammers
I'm sure everyone would prefer their matures warm and tender, rather than cold stiff and and chewy.

Re: Spammers
That's not spam, though. The site supports ads to get revenue. I thought you meant a spam post, but this is just an example of the normal site ads.
Re: Spammers
No I was asking people to keep an eye out for what has been a slightly more sophisticated attempt to spam the forum. The new users are posting questions that are getting answers and if it's not a person setting up the account it may be using an ai content bot.
Re: Spammers
Oh, right, yes. My reply was about Olli's screenshot and thought you posted it (missed the user name).

Re: Spammers
I finally pierced the secret of this mysterious repetitive noise that I hear frequently everywhere : << Eke squeak... Eke squeak... Eke squeak... Eke squeak... >> which sometimes turns into a << Quicky squeak... Quicky squeak... Quicky squeak... >> and of which I cannot express the ultimate refrain.the.weavster wrote: Thu Nov 03, 2022 10:18 amI prefer mine salty and squeaky, like halloumiidle wrote: Thu Nov 03, 2022 3:29 am I'm sure everyone would prefer their matures warm and tender, rather than cold stiff and and chewy.![]()

Re: Spammers
In a first step, I deleted all users with Post=0 and where a strange website was stored.
But only 3-4 months back.
There were about 30-40 of them.

Re: Spammers
I really want to thank 'Google Ad' which, it seems, is really neutral, so neutral, and over time too, hour after hour, day after day. Strange when I haven't changed anything... Perfect neutrality, 5/5, congratulations Google Ad!
Its robot seems to have gone on a strange journey.
