freeware bmp to avi converter

i was pondering away on the google trying to find a bmp to avi converter thats freeware
but i couldn't find one either there sharware and only limit how many images i can convert into or it prints some message across the whole movie

so do you guys know were any are freeware or only it has a trial period on it
don't feel like starting some project to convert it my self i already have my hands full :?

I just say: VirtualDub.

Agreed. :D

VirtualDub and TMPGEnc are the only two video apps you'll ever need.
Well, maybe AviSynth as well, to act as a frame-server for them.

For Virtual Dub i agree, but TMPEG is very slow, in fact you can produce high quality results in half the time with CCE encoder.

For instance i used Virtual Dub has a frame server, with subtitle plugin, to encode in MP2 PAL DVD(720x576) - ALIENS 2H40m Divx - It took just 5 hours with CCE, same thing with TMPEG using Fast Compression takes 14 Hours !!!!!

Once again the power of assembler is proven :P
