Re: John McAfee's death
I'd enjoy to know how do you know such things.
Re: John McAfee's death
That is correct, please ever cite sources !
A person has died.
We will probably never know the exact circumstances and reasons.
It also does not belong in this forum.

Re: John McAfee's death
He was wanted in Belize for suspicion of murder, see his wikipedia page
Why does discussion about a famous programmer not belong on a programming forum? Because he died? Can we then no longer talk about Alan Turing?
Re: John McAfee's death
@Psychophanta you can read court cases and archived news if you are interested in McAfees life.
Also, i only stated my conclusion on what he is but i nowhere stated if i view what he has done negatively.
So if you want to know that you can ask me and i might answer or not.

The reason he (i assume u mean McAfee here) died is pretty clear if you watch/read his last interviews.Saki wrote: Sat Jun 26, 2021 8:56 pm ...

Re: John McAfee's death
Hmm, I don't think he had the importance and especially the dangerous knowledge of Epstein.

Thats illogical, you cant disturbe a dead person.
Talking about the dead and remembering them is useful for a society.
As bad or good example - its another incentive to not to do stupid shit while walking this ball of dust.
Re: John McAfee's death
So it's ok to talk about Epstein (not a programmer), but not John McAffee (famous programmer)?Saki wrote: Sat Jun 26, 2021 9:58 pm Hmm, I don't think he had the importance and especially the dangerous knowledge of Epstein.
Re: John McAfee's death
Suspicion <> guilty.

Re: John McAfee's death
What it seems to be sure is, that he has been murder of himself. We can insure it, for that, he is guilty.
Re: John McAfee's death
Olli, just because someone suicides doesn't mean they're guilty. It can mean they don't want to spend their lives in jail with a cellmate named Butch McDick.
