Back to old PB version

Post by Tomio »

Hello,

a question which probably has been put here more than once. But I can't find any:

I still run PB 3.62.
I want to upgrade to the latest version. But in case I have problems to compile my old program I would like to go back to 3.62.

For that I plan to make a copy of my PB folder before upgrade.
And to go back I delete the PBfolder (now version 3.72) and rename the copied (old) version to C:\Programme\PureBasic

Is this ok? Or did the upgrade create/modify entries somewhere else in Windows which would make my old PB "unclean"?

Thanks../tomio

No, it should be ok. PureBasic can be run from its directory without need anything else.

Fred,

Will the focus bug (search not found) be fixed in the next version?

I updated and...of course... no need to go back, "all systems running!"
