irc client?

i wanted to make a irc client so i can learn a bit more in pb
so does any one have any examples or at least any ideas were to get any explaintion on that

well my fourm menu is very hardtoread i could see there was a search because of the style and resoultion i useing

Problem is, is that you'd really need to have the receivenetworkdata etc in a thread of it's own, so it will absolutely be there to grab the next thing. This sound right to anyone? If so, you're then faced with the strings/thread problem.

Anybody ever got IRC Colors (forgrounda and background) working with the editor control? That, I am interested in.

i think there's some procedures doing just that on the forum (by Freak if i'm not misstaken), a good way to start is to search for 'charformat2'
