Maybe a sciprting bug of 349 spambots which didnt manage to post ;)

This isn't the days of AltaVista, Google, and Yahoo. It could of easily been crawlers that set cookie and agent headers along with real people and sessions pending timeout

PB has a lot of high ranking back-links it's not really out of place..
