i find that a really interesting choice a company like that setting up a physical shop (in 2016!). Being in NYC im sure they wont have problems getting customers in to make the sales to make them profitable so profits shouldnt be an issue, but i thought we lived in an age where companies like that were shutting down as many physical buildings as possible to maximize and streamline their profits through e-commerce - this physical shop almost seems counter-intuitive!?
ThinkGeek plans to have 25 more stores in the U.S. by the end of the year to capitalize on the rapidly-growing geek community looking to get their hands on merchandise.
so they're not mucking around either, 25 stores! ... but don't geeks "look to get their hands on merchandise" by googling/ebay/etc!?

ps it looks like Stuart's comic book store with customers (i think his customers mostly shop online too!?)
