Cloudflare or similar

hello im just wondering if anyone has had any experience with website hosting with Cloudflare? (or similar?) i noticed they have a free plan which also has free SSL, and it helps reduce wasteful traffic and protect against DDoS etc, so it sounds all good, but im just wondering if there's any catches or negative points?

It's good for DDOS protection. I use it on top of letsencrypt TLS and DNSsec. I've seen some alternatives but CloudFlare seems to have the best support and infrastructure.

They captcha TOR users to death though.
