Trouble compliling under Linux

I get this error when i try to build my project under
linux (suse 8.1):

gcc: PureBasic.o: No such file or directory

But i get no errormessage?! So, couldn't the complier
create the object-file or is my gcc not correct installed?
I can build other sources without a problem...

Anyone got a clue?
