George Carlin was actually a bit surprising middle to late in his career. He had socialist bits but still sold shows in the US.

When most people get enough experience dealing with society I think they just feel the need to point out it's flaws.

Thank you for this!
I love negativity!
Realistic people will see the world in a negative way... The way it is.
I like logic, hence I dislike humans but love computers.

Especially if you get paid to do it!

George was NOT an activist--nothing of the sort! His net worth was estimated at $10M, yet he still didn't hesitate to rail on "greedy corporations".

The reality is you have to look towards his true motivations, which appeared to be making money, and nothing more (besides, perhaps, he enjoyed doing stand-up). If money wasn't his primary motivation, he'd either donate his money (while alive), or quit charging for appearances to spread his "activist message" further.

Comedians will say just about anything to sell tickets. George just found a niche he was good at, which was pointing out societal flaws, and he sold a lot of tickets.

...and THAT is NOT necessarily a flaw in our society, but rather, an advantage.

Fine. :)
Avoiding a futile debate.
EDIT: Found one, which wasn't muffled at certain intervals.

Discontent sales in countries made up of mostly people displaced by social-bias and disproportionate income. US politicians aren't above telling you they are going to improve employment statistics(which is communism by the way) to get in as a figure head of corporate governance where they are going to pipeline legislature to do whatever is profitable for them and their friends..

I like the Russian form of the same system where they're like if you don't like it f**k you we can force the election and executives of any domestic industry infrastructure and we're a capitalist-republic too..

The bottom line is: If you don't like the economic realities of over-populated capitalist countries move and make another country a over-populated capitalist country. .o0(Drives past your bus stop in his red sports car)0o.
