Thumbs up smiley

Post by RSBasic »

Hello administrators,

I haven't found sub forum for questions about this forum. I hope this sub forum is okay for these questions.

I miss a thumbs up smiley. E.g.: Image

Can you add this smiley?

I like that one too - but it has a whole different meaning in some countries

If it sounds simple, you have not grasped the complexity.

So what? It's impossible to consider each and every one. I think this kind of mindset, not wanting to offend anyone (also called "political correctness"), is actually a flaw of our current age... I mean the word "whole" might be or sound like a terrible insult in a different language -- forbid it! Maybe someone feels offended by this smiley  -- remove it! What about users like LuCiFeR[SD], Hoessi666 or dylex666? -- ban them!
If any of you native English speakers have any suggestions for the above text, please let me know (via PM). Thanks!

A simple disliking of an icon is reason enough for the hoster to remove it and thereby derange hundreds of prior postings without worriing about the disrespect against the members freedom of expression.

No - the correct procedure would be to omit certain words when an account is requested.

It's a difference if something is removed or banned in the later or simply not offered for comfort usage from the beginning.

I clearly see that the thumbs-up smilies are allowed on this forum and my favorit is Image
