Timezone information is substantial if one deals with time. It may be irrelevant to one developing software which is just supposed to run on her local machine but as soon as it comes to software which is used and produces data (with time information) in an international interchange you can't go without. Therefore I would like to hereby ask for a Purebasic-native solution (enhancement of the already existing date library) to support timezone information.
For the sake of completeness: I know that there has already been a feature request many years ago (http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtop ... t=timezone), however, that post doesn't actually read like a feature request, it's rather a "tips and tricks" flavoured post - so I decided to create a new one.
