Xcode 6.x support? [completed]

Post by Danilo »

piquadrat in german forum reported he gets linker errors with Xcode 6.0.1 (officially released 2014/September/18)

- What’s new in Xcode 6

Is there a quick fix for PB 5.2x LTS and PB 5.3x to use latest Xcode 6.x?

Installed Xcode 6.0.1 (6A317) the day it was released.
No problems here.

Assuming that the OSX language (english) doesn't really matter.
But maybe it does...

I am to provide the public with beneficial shocks.

I don't know what kind of linker error it was.
What happened to me after installing the Xcode upgrade is that I got a "Agreeing to the Xcode/iOS license requires admin privileges, please re-run as root via sudo" message.
Starting Xcode and agreeing to the license solved it for me.

Thanks guys! I usually wait a few days to see if any problems occur.

Installed it now, and got exactly the same:

The message clearly says what the problem is, and running Xcode one time fixed it.
