Write a changelog for each beta

Heyho,

it would be great, if PB-Team could write a changelog for each beta.
It would be enough to write which bugs are solved (What was the problem).
Effect:
-Users can easy check whether those solved things are really solved or not and perhaps there could pop up bugs for connected things with old bug...
-Any interested user sees what was done in each beta
-Pb-Team can see what is done (motivation ?! :D )

While it's always nice to have more documentation(?), they do mark the bugs as [DONE].

I would rather have them spend their limited time fixing more bugs than re-telling us about those they've fixed. ;)

cheers

The problem with the current system is that fixes may be [DONE] several weeks or months before the code is released, by which time the entry might be many pages down the forum list. Also, not all PB users check the forums every day, so fixes are easy to miss.

Since Fred already takes the time to post a [DONE] entry, it would only take a few more seconds to do a cut and paste of the bug's URL and put it somewhere in the Announcment section. Then once the new version is released, and the fixes are identified in the documentation, these URLs could be deleted from the Announcement section in readiness for the next batch of fixes.

This is a simple technique that I've used a lot over the years. It keeps everyone informed, with essentially no administrative overhead.

This is a really good idea!
