I don't know yet if PureBasic can generate multi-threaded code, or parallelize internal loops, to harness the full power of all cores.
If not, please add this request so we can all see this feature in future versions of PureBasic. Nuclear Basic already does this, so
games that are created with NB can automatically scale to the power of the main CPU (just watch the demo software! WOW!)
Also, will OGRE commands and features be updated to the latest versions, with each new release of PureBasic? If not, please add
this to the wishlist too!
Can several of your 'PureBasic' graphics gurus get together and publish several books about PureBasic and OGRE 3D graphics
and game programming? If so, I would definitely be interested in ordering such books. (You can self-publish at createspace.com )
Does PureBasic access USB web camera data? Are there functions or commands that can be called to get RGB (Red Green Blue)
pixel data from webcams? Just like "DirectShow" (DirectX), or VFW / AVI capture controls? If not, please consider adding this
feature - because it would be great to use for image recognition projects, such as those in 'machine vision' and robotics applications. If PureBasic can do all of these things, I will definitely recommend that my University teaches with it.
Thanks again and keep up the great work there!!!

Re: PureBasic wishlist
Hello scubero,
Purebasic does not have all of OGRE's functions and may never get them all. As OGRE is huge and is still growing at a good rate.
I believe only Fred and Comtois work on the 3D side and they can't spend all their time trying to keep up with OGRE's development.
Don't worry about it being neglected though. Fred has stated that the 3D side will continually be updated and improved.
Luckily, there is enough already implemented into Purebasic for most people interested in 3D projects.
Purebasic is usually updated to the newest/most stable version of OGRE at every release.scubero wrote: Also, will OGRE commands and features be updated to the latest versions, with each new release of PureBasic? If not, please add this to the wishlist too!

Re: PureBasic wishlist
Hello Scubero,
you mentioned Nuclear Basic as the big competitor that have all your requested features.
I checked the website and found a basic entirely for 3D under Windows.
That's very nice, but still I think Purebasic has much more features:
-support for Windows + Linux + MacOS
-desktop applications
-2D graphics
-databases
-....younameit
If this Nuclear Basic just concentrates on 3D gaming under Windows - ok, fine.
But I think Purbasic serves a lot of more other folks with different requirements. And I would be glad if it just keeps on the way it grew.
And I agree to Samuel - there is already much in for 3D. If it is sufficient for the next big-selling Windows game is not in my scope.
