Flappy Bird PC

Post by em_uk »

I retooled Flappy Bird on the PC written in Purebasic.

Why? Because my kids love the game and wanted to play on the PC :)

It was also a nice little project. Original by the .gears studio.

Download it here

EDIT : I fixed the broken links. Appears it was a download counter that was interfering!

EDIT : I have added to source files for you to scoff and ridicule!

There's not a chance in hell that I will download that... I'll never get any bloody work done if I start playing!

What are you trying to do to us man?

(Great offering by the way... I will download tonight! ;) )

Yes, clicking the download button does nothing here either. Right-click / open works mind!

Did .Gears give their consent for this?

If it sounds simple, you have not grasped the complexity.

I hope not, then I've got an excuse to stop crashing into pipes all day!

A bird made of lead. Poor space bar.
Something you can't play on this unless you are inside a sound-proof chamber.

Yeah sorry about the download link. Changed the text.

I didn't get explicit permission, but .gears is unlikely to ever let this game in the wild again as the creator hates it.

My version is MUCH better than any of the online versions IMHO. This was one of the reason why I converted it with PB.

Spiderbasic ? I could give it a whirl...

;)

Same here... corrupted zip file. Even with right-click -> save target as.
