I believe he wants to collect the normals from a RayCast() and then use those normals to identify when the camera is about to collide with an object.
Then somehow setup a routine for the camera to go around those objects when they meet.
Which should stop any clipping from appearing when the camera goes partially through an object.
A process like this can be done, but I could see it being a bit of a challange.

I think you tried to attach the camera to a invisible sphere with the body "static".
I think there is only one possibility: 4 Raycaster.
