Sometimes what starts out as a small little project evolves into a bigger one.
With Create Exe, the version info is stored with the file; but if you then put that file as the input file for a project; the version info needs to be re-entered.
It would be nice if the project manager noticed that you set an input file that had version info and offer to 'import it' into the project file.
