Hi,
i am a little confused about the role of the new XML dialog in the PB 5.20 beta. Will it be a replacement of the embedded IDE form designer? Or will the form designer get a layouting feature and capability to load and save dialog XML files?
From my opinion, layouting is very importing nowadays because every user has its own system font size settings, espacially on Linux where the desktop is highly customizable. If you cannot imagine, set your DPI value of Windows system fonts to 125% and run your application(s). Are you still satisfied? Without layouting, i won't (i wrote my ow table layouting component).
Best regards
Uwe

The formdesigner will integrate this someday.
