Hi,

I dont want to start a politic discussion, im just afraid of the consequences that the killer instinct of George W. Bush could have if he insists on attack Iraq.

I dont believe in White House's arguments because it dosent resists any kind of analysis and will cost many lifes, not only inside iraq but in all the world.

Saddam Hussien is a creation of USA (as Bin Laden was too!!!) and there are other ways to stop him but not killing millions of inocent people.

Im not making any criticism to USA people, im far from that (my parent live in USA!), im just talking about George W. Bush and his crowd.

Is there any way that a software programers could show our fellings against ANY war?

Best Regards

Ricardo

too late! :)

my opinion:
i'm afraid to say that i support Tony Blair here in England for going ahead with force against Iraq. I believe that we as a nation can trust him (sounds odd for any politician, i know). The more you learn about the brutal government Saddam Hussein heads the more you understand why these thing are nessecary in this day in age. I believe their has been some kind of clear warning from terrorist groups or Iraq itself that prompted Bush/Blair to action. Don't forget Al Quieda is desperate for any weapons of mass destruction to use against the 'west' and Iraq could become a sympathiser to their cause, this is the main reasoning behind the stepped up policy on Iraq. Its sad i know, but to stop/and/or/defend against these kind of people, i'm afraid force is the ony answer. If Bush had warned of impending disaster against the USA before 9/11 and said the only way to stop it was to invade Afganistan and replace the government therefore making Al quieda scatter, no-one would of believed him and mass anti-war demo's would have ensued. The trouble is that 'joe public' like me and you do not have the information they have, they probably know something through foriegn intelligence that a threat is present, they are just dealing with that threat! I also believe we as a nation vote for and empower these men to be our leaders, yet when they show leader ship there is uprising, i can not understand this. Tony Blair has a wife, family and a recent new born child, he would not be doing this unless their was no other choice.

The only reservations i have about this war is that hopefully the Americans are better shots this time and a little less gung-ho, and hit the enemy instead of British troops a'la friendly fire.

Thats my take on it all anyway :)

If the U.N. says "okay to attack" then war will happen.

If the U.N. says "don't attack" then other countries will see that
the U.N. has no spine (e.g. Korea) and they'll attack other countries.

Either way, war is inevitable.

But Al Quaeda is not an Iraq partner in fact they are the two poles on the muslim countries. One is a secular & militar government (Saddam H.) and Al Qaeda is a fanatic muslim... they are enemys.

About 9/11 i think that George Bush is the real man behind this. There are many things that point in that way.

Im happy that the world are against this kind of murders, not only Saddam Hussein, but George Bush and Aznar, etc.

They'd just call it a terrorist attack and use it to justify blowing up a country. :|

yes, during the cold war Bin Laden was trained by the CIA and Iraq armed from the USA to fight a greater common enemy, the russians. Its such a mess!

Politics is just one man's opinion. Remember that. Everyone is entitled to believe what they want. History will prove them right or wrong.

By the way... politics and religion don't belong in this forum, just programmers! :)
