show Animation names

Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

show Animation names

Post by applePi »

i suggest a function to show a List of the possible available animations in a mesh, this can be used to make a generic mesh viewer.
there is already a utility to do that but it is outdated and can't show many models: show mesh v1.1

You should take a look to Ogre Meshy: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ogremeshy/?source=dlp it has much more features

yes it is excellent, thanks, it lists all the animations associated with a model. and it does not crash with some models.

The possibility to read the animation names out of an binary ogre file would really be great and helpful. Since OgreMeshy can view the animation names, it should be possible somehow. Reading out bone names would also be great. Are there any plans to integrate such features in the future?
