flickering sux !!

The windows GUI doesn't use double buffering so flickering is a part of life in windows. We can only hope Microsoft fixes this someday. Microsoft is moving to a 3D interface with the next major release of windows one or two years from now I believe this will solve you flickering problem, just be patient.
