cylindrical wrap-around image editor

Does anybody on here know of an image editor that will help create a repeating-pattern image that wraps around a cylinder and stays aligned?

You could take the circumference of the cylinder and create an image with the same dimensions and put it through any image editor with a "seamless" feature.
