Bizzar corruption via Flash

Post by IdeasVacuum »

Got a very strange issue, a memory leak.

The app I'm working on has a tab panel, various gadgets on each, one tab is dedicated to a Web Gadget.

If the URL selected is a page that has a Flash click-through (an advertisement for example), and that Flash is clicked, a couple of the 3D Frame Gadgets on other tabs of my app magically get a bitmap background applied to the frame text! How weird is that? It clears-up simply by switching between the tabs. Is it that sort of behaviour that caused Apple to become cautious about supporting Flash on their platforms?

If it sounds simple, you have not grasped the complexity.
